Visit of representatives of the International Humanitarian Organization @CARE and the Charitable Foundation "Stabilization Support Services" to the Polytechnic's dormitories
On August 13, representatives of the international humanitarian organization @CARE and the Charitable Foundation “Stabilization Support Services” visited the Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University dormitories. The meeting was attended by the director of the student campus, Vadym Dubina, the head of dormitory No. 4, Valery Ignashov, and the passport officer of dormitory No. 2, Tina Tyshchenko.
❗️The main purpose of the meeting was to analyze the effectiveness of already completed repair works, namely: replacing windows and doors, repairing bathrooms in dormitories #2 and #4, providing humanitarian aid (hygienic and NFI kits) and involving residents in the process of improving the standard of living in university dormitories, in particular: selecting objects that, in their opinion, need priority improvements.
New projects aimed at improving living conditions and increasing the level of comfort in student dormitories were discussed with residents. The participants of the meeting determined the next steps and the direction of development to improve living conditions in the dormitories.
We thank our partners for their support and assistance in the implementation of important projects that significantly affect the quality of life of residents ❤️
The meeting took place as part of the implementation of the project “Humanitarian aid to affected cities and places of accommodation of IDPs in Ukraine”, implemented by the @Charitable Fund “Stabilization Support Services” together with the international humanitarian organization @CARE with the financial support of the @Disasters Emergency Committee of Great Britain and the British people (@UK Aid).
