Happy International Volunteer Day!

For over 35 years, the whole world has been celebrating Volunteer Day on December 5. This year, this day has acquired special significance for our country.

Volunteers in the fight for Ukraine’s freedom have become a reliable rear for our defenders. They are the force that currently supports millions of Ukrainians who defend the country’s borders. They support those who have lost their homes or were forced to leave their homeland.

The volunteer headquarters of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University is one of the most powerful in the region. The team formed in February is growing almost every day. Students, teachers and employees of the university are joining the volunteer movement. This is exciting and inspiring, and it makes us proud of the staff and students of our alma mater. We are proud of everyone for whom the words mutual assistance and support have become the most important in life.
