Congratulations to the winners of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad on the restoration and improvement of wear resistance of parts and structures!

The All-Ukrainian Student Distance Olympiad in the specialization “Restoration and improvement of wear resistance of parts and structures” was held at the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University.

The welcoming speech was delivered by the first vice-rector Serhiy Shylo, responsible for the Olympiad, the head of the Department of Integrated Welding Technologies and Structural Modeling Oleksiy Kapustyan, and the head of the Department of Student Research Snezhana Vychuzhanina.

For the second time, the Olympiad is held in an online format and covers current issues to ensure economic efficiency, environmental friendliness and sustainable development of industry through the implementation of innovative technological solutions. This year, leading higher education institutions from Dnipro, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, and Khmelnytskyi participated.

Zaporizhia Polytechnic was represented by a team of students from the Faculty of Engineering and Physics: Yevheniy Zayezzhai (IF-312), Yevheniy Pavlyuk (IF-313), and Fedir Udovychenko (IF-312) under the scientific supervision of Anna Lapteva, Associate Professor of the Department of Integrated Welding Technologies and Structural Modeling.

2nd place was taken by student Yevheniy Pavlyuk! We are proud of our students!
