V International Scientific Congress of the Society of Environmental Intelligence

Today, October 17, the V International Scientific Congress of the Society of Environmental Intelligence began its work.

The rector of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Hreshta Viktor Leonidovich delivered a welcoming speech.

During his speech, Viktor Leonidovich noted that the leading role in the process of modernization of the economy and innovative changes belongs to education and the scientific environment, which finds new opportunities for the effective use of various resources, and above all, human capital.

Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic closely cooperates in the scientific and technical direction with most of the large enterprises of the region: JSC «Motor Sich», SE «Zaporizhzhia Machine-Building Design Bureau »Progress« named after Academician O.G. Ivchenko, PJSC »Zaporizhzhia Metallurgical Plant «Zaporizhstal», PrJSC «Dniprospetsstal», LLC «NVP »KHARTRON-UKOM”.

In addition to large enterprises, Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University cooperates with small and medium-sized businesses. In 2019, with the support of the Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Association of Ukrainian Universities of Applied Sciences, a memorandum of cooperation was signed to create the Center 4.0, as the main Center for Innovation and Training in Technologies 4.0 of the Zaporizhzhia region. In 2020, the university became a member of the Zaporizhzhia IAM cluster and continued work on identifying brokerage services, implementing a qualitatively new level of cooperation between university scientists and participants in the industrial high-tech sectors within Industry 4.0.

NU «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» pursues an active policy of internationalization – it is a signatory of the Magna Charta; it is included in international rankings (Multirank); it is a participant in international projects Erasmus+, DAAD; it is a participant in large regional cooperation associations (Black Sea Universities Network BSUN). In July 2022, Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University was elected a full individual member of the European University Association (EUA).

The work on developing the Development Strategy of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, which is based on the identification of not only the own potential of the teaching staff and university management, but also partners at different levels, will ensure the effective implementation of the results obtained and Strategic innovation leadership in the Zaporizhzhia region.
