Solemn awarding of the laureates of the City Program for Supporting Gifted Youth in Zaporizhzhia

On June 23, the solemn awarding of the laureates of the City Program for Supporting Gifted Youth in Zaporizhzhia was held at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University. A total of 96 students of our university, 13 students of separate structural units and 4 young scientists were awarded.

Certificates were presented to the laureates by the rector of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic, Viktor Greshta, acting. Mayor of Zaporizhzhia Anatoliy Kurtiev and Deputy Mayor for the Activities of the Council’s Executive Bodies Anatoliy Vasyuk.

In his welcoming speech, Viktor Hreshta thanked the youth of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University for their active participation in the city’s public life and called on them to start making plans to restore their native land.

Anatoliy Kurtiev also joined the congratulations. In his speech, he drew attention to the important role of talented students in the development of Zaporizhzhia and expressed hope that young people will be involved in the post-war development of our city.

During the informal communication, the laureates thanked representatives of local authorities for their support, and also discussed important topics: the role of the public in the reconstruction of damaged houses and international partnerships in the context of the arrangement of modern recreation areas.
