Pupils of the «Carousel of Directions» group are visiting the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic
On Saturday, December 16, the first face-to-face class of the «Carousel of directions» club of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University took place.
The children were greeted by the rector of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic Viktor Greshta and the director of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University Olena Nazarova.
The event was attended by students of Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium #28, Zaporizhzhia Academic Lyceum #23, Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium #6, Zaporizhzhia Collegium «Elint», Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium #60, Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium #63, Zaporizhzhia Educational Complex #67, Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium No. 1 in the name of T.G. Shevchenko, Zaporizhzhia specialized school #100, Dniprorudniv specialized school «Talent».
Students immersed themselves in the fascinating world of physics, conducted interesting experiments with their own hands, in particular, calculated the amount of water that flows out of a faulty faucet in a year. It turned out that this is a striking volume, which is a very inefficient use of natural resources.
Students learned a lot of interesting things about the development of modern robotics, professions of the future, which are related to the use of quadcopters.
All students tried to program the flight of a quadcopter, control various types of drones with the help of specialized remote controls and even from a regular smartphone.
A win-win lottery with branded goodies and souvenirs from the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic was organized for children.
Sincere gratitude to the management of the university for supporting the organization of group classes for schoolchildren of the Zaporizhzhia region, for the initiative and creative approach to the teachers and employees of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic Liudmyla Gulyaeva, Svitlana Donets, Oleksandr Kupchenko, the deputy director of the NTTM «Polit» Center Oleksiy Paziy and all the children for their active participation and interest!
