In order to activate the role of the university in fostering an active civic position of youth in preventing and countering corruption, on February 22, a working meeting was held between the Vice-Rector for Prospective Development Ruslan Kulikovsky and Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations Kateryna Antonyuk with representatives of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.
During the meeting, the prospects for introducing the discipline «Anti-Corruption and Integrity» into the educational process of the university were discussed. The relevance of educating Ukrainian society on the principles of zero tolerance for corruption was emphasized in order to overcome a significant part of economic problems and ensure the successful process of European integration of our state.
The main goal of teaching the discipline is to convey the principles of integrity to the general public, and its peculiarity is the focus on students of various educational programs and levels to form in them an understanding of the problem of dishonesty in various spheres of professional and social life and the skills of proactively responding to it.
The launch of the discipline «Anti-corruption and Integrity» is planned from the next academic year within the educational component of the general university choice.
