A Brokerage event for innovators was held at Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic
«We help businesses become more capable, sustainable and innovative,» – note the organizers of the Brokerage event in Zaporizhzhia.
On November 1, Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University hosted an important event in a mixed format: Brokerage event for innovators. The main goal of the event is the development of joint innovative projects of business, the city administration and scientists, the development of programs for the recovery of the Zaporizhzhia region after the victory of Ukraine.
The brokerage event was organized by the Regional Cluster «Engineering-Automation-Machine Building» within the framework of the ClustersFUNDRAISE project together with the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance, Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University and the Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Rector of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University Victor Greshta opened the meeting. He spoke about successfully implemented projects and new visions of cooperation. He noted the great potential of Zaporizhzhia enterprises, spoke about the establishment of new ties between the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic and the universities of Lublin and the creation of the Association of Azov-Black Sea Universities.
Participants discussed and shared their experiences during three main thematic blocks:
- state and tools of regional development support;
- project and financial opportunities for business;
- business cases and innovative solutions of regional enterprises.
Also, within the framework of the event, the Engineering Center of the Zaporizhzhia Cluster of IAM was opened and a memorandum with our university was solemnly signed.
The brokerage event is held within the scope of the ReACT4UA international cooperation project («Application and implementation of the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine in the sphere of trade») funded by the German government. The project is implemented by the German federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft fürInternationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH together with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine.
