In Zaporizhzhia, the regional cultural and artistic event «Motanka Peremohy» took place

On August 23, the regional cultural and artistic event «Motanka Peremohy» took place, dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence and the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine.

For the second time, at the initiative of the Department of Culture and Information Policy of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, the municipal institution «Regional Methodological Center of Culture and Art» of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council held this event aimed at supporting the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The event was attended by employees of cultural institutions, craftsmen and creative associations of decorative and applied arts of Dolynska, Shyrokivska, Malotokmachanska, Hulyaipilska, Kyrylivska, Yakymivska territorial communities, the Center for Children’s and Youth Creativity Shevchenkivskyi district and the public organization «Zaporizhzhia Beregyn».

With special love and faith in victory, adults and children made and presented to our defenders amulets filled with bright energy, the power of nature and the invincibility of many generations of Ukrainians.

The Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Head of the Regional Military Administration Yurii Malashko congratulated the participants of the holiday and talked with the craftsmen who presented unique works of art made by themselves.

The participants of the event got acquainted with the traveling exhibition «History of the State Emblem of Ukraine», which was introduced to the audience by the author, head of the Department of Ukrainian Studies and General Language Training of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Georgy Shapovalov.
