Digitalization and internationalization of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic’s activities as key areas of the university’s development strategy
From November 14 to 18, 2022, an international week was held at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (FH Dortmund), during which events aimed at the digitalization and internationalization of education and science, as well as the further development of cooperation between universities in Germany and Ukraine, were held.
The «Train-the-Trainer: English as Medium of Instruction training» (EMI) training was held for teachers from partner universities for levels C1 and B2 with the support of the ERASMUS+ and DAAD «Virtual Masters Ukraine» (ViMUk) programs.
Teachers of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic participated in the training. One of the tasks was to prepare a mini-lecture in English, and our teachers successfully coped with it.
Teachers of the departments of software, computer systems and networks, and information technologies of electronic means received a grant to take the English as Medium of Instruction training (EMI) course online.
Also during the International Week of FH Dortmund 2022, the international educational project of Ukrainian, Azerbaijani and European universities WORK4CE «Cross-domain competences for healthy and safe work in the 21st century» (619034-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) was presented.
Together with partners, we generate new scientific and educational solutions to turn the opportunities of digitalization into advantages for higher education and respond to political, social and economic challenges facing the economy and society.
