Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University students will study using software from RoboDK
In recent years, the industrial robotics market has grown rapidly. Flexible and easy-to-implement robots are finding more and more users in various fields of application from production assembly to CNC milling, welding, packaging, healthcare, and even art projects.
Software is an integral part of studying modern automation and robotics. It allows you to autonomously program and model industrial robots.
Therefore, training highly qualified specialists who are able to use a variety of specialized software to solve typical engineering problems in the field of automation and robotics, in particular using information technology methods, is extremely relevant for ensuring the development of our state in the conditions of mass implementation of cyber-physical systems in production (Industry 4.0).
As part of the development of partnership relations with one of the leaders in the development of programming tools for industrial robots, the Canadian company RoboDK provided Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University with its own licensed software. This will allow providing the educational process under the educational programs «Automation, Mechatronics and Robotics», «Industrial Automation» and «Electromechanical Automation Systems and Electric Drive» («Department of Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Installations», «Department of Information Technologies of Electronic Means») with a modern software complex and bringing it to a new level.
