Students and teachers of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic are participants of the Ukrainian-German Teaching Week
On September 30, the Ukrainian-German Teaching Week started at the East Bavarian Technical University Amberg-Weiden as part of the DILLUGIS project. 6 lecturers from three Ukrainian universities (Zaporizka Polytechnic University, Ihor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic University, Odesa State Agrarian University) will give lectures for German and Ukrainian students in a hybrid format for eight days.
In particular, the professor of the Department of Management, Nadiya Shmygol, teaches the course «Financial Management and Sustainable Finance», and the assistant professors of the Department of Software Anzhelika Parkhomenko and Olha Gladkova offered the course «Embedded Systems as the Basis of IoT Infrastructure» for international students.
About 40 international students studying at the East Bavarian Technical University Amberg-Weiden and more than 100 Ukrainian students joined the courses. Among them are students Anastasiia Kuligina (Department of International Economic Relations) and Oleksandr Shram (Department of Power Supply of Industrial Enterprises), who came to the campus in the city of Vaiden. 40 Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic students joined online.
As the coordinator of the DILLUGIS project Professor Kateryna Antonyuk and the head of the project Professor Yuliya Heigl noted during the opening of the Ukrainian-German Teaching Week, this event demonstrates the desire of German institutions to promote the involvement of Ukrainian professors as equal participants in the European educational community, as well as significant interest in the theoretical and practical work of our teachers on the part of international students.
This event was made possible thanks to the support of the DILLUGIS project (initiated by the East Bavarian Technical University Amberg-Weiden and Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University) by the DAAD service within the framework of the initiative «Digital Ukraine: Ensuring academic success in times of crisis», funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (FMBF).
