STARTUP with Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic
The world is changing, and every day we observe how processes accelerate, needs change, new challenges appear. However, you can constantly improve your skills, offer innovations, and strive for the best.
As part of the first university competition of student business ideas «STARTUP with Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic», our young people not only deepened their knowledge of business and intellectual property, but also improved their «flexible» skills.
The competition started with the beginning of the spring semester, collecting 27 business ideas that students proposed on their own and in teams. Applications covered a wide range of topics: leisure organization, convenient household solutions, optimization of production processes, rational use of resources, etc. After analyzing the applications for participation, the competition experts prepared a course of classes. Under the guidance of Oksana Sorina, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Management, the contestants were introduced to the technology of developing business plans. The head of the patent and information department, Nataliia Vysotska, spoke popularly about intellectual property, analyzing individual cases using examples of current applications for participation.
Preparation for the final presentation is the best time to test a young entrepreneur’s own potential. Unquestionable belief in one’s own business idea, a high level of self-organization, initiative, creativity, determination and perseverance – these are the qualities of leaders who will compete in the finals of the university competition of student business ideas.
