The international project Fächer der Elektrotechnik für Ukrainische Hochschulen («Subjects of Electrical Engineering for Ukrainian Universities») is launched
The Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University is implementing this project together with HWR Berlin (Berlin Higher School of Economics and Law, Germany) within the framework of the signed cooperation agreement with the support of the German academic exchange service DAAD within the framework of the initiative «Ukraine digital: Ensuring academic success in times of crisis».
Together with the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, the National University «Odessa Polytechnic» and the Cherkasy State Technological University are participating in this project from Ukraine.
Responsible for the implementation of the program at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University:
– Head of the Department «Electric Drive and Automation industrial installations” Andriy PYROZHOK;
– Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering Mykola ANTONOV.
The project provides for the involvement of students of our university in lectures and laboratory classes in the following subjects in the online format during the fall semester of 2022:
- Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering I&II.
- Fundamentals of Electric Machines.
- Renewable Energy Sources.
- Specialization in Electric Machines with Laboratory Works.
- Laboratory Works on Electric Machines in Controlled Drives.
- Field Calculations in Electrical and Electromechanical Systems.
- Electric Drive.
Students of the relevant courses will be offered online training from German and Ukrainian professors at the HWR Berlin facilities. The courses will be available to all students of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University. Classes will be held in Ukrainian. Individual courses may also contain specialized vocabulary on topical topics in German and English. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive appropriate certificates from the German partner university HWR Berlin indicating the appropriate number of ECTS credits, which can be taken into account as an educational component of the individual curriculum of a higher education applicant. In addition, under certain conditions, program participants are provided with additional financial assistance for studying the above-mentioned educational components.
All those interested in participating in the program «Electrical Engineering Subjects for Universities of Ukraine», including organizational issues, are invited to contact the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering ANTONOV Mykola Leonidovich (dekanat_etf@zp.edu.ua) or the Department of International Activities and Work with Foreign Students.
