Start of the academic mobility program under the DILLUGIS project
36 students and 5 teachers of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University passed a competitive selection to participate in the international project DILLUGIS (Digital Labs & Lectures for Ukrainian, German & International Students) for online learning in the educational courses of the program «Digital Technologies and Management» of the East Bavarian University of Amberg-Weiden.
More than 60 applications were submitted to participate in the competition from students from 6 faculties. The joint Ukrainian-German competition commission determined the motivation to participate in the project and English language skills during the interview process. The selection results showed a high interest of students and teachers in participating in international academic mobility programs and the advantages of this type of education. It is also worth noting the students’ understanding of the need to have a high level of English.
The organizational meeting to launch the project was held on September 27, 2022 with the participation of the project coordinator from the East Bavarian University of Amberg-Weiden, Professor Julia Heigl, and the coordinators from the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, Prof. Kateryna Antonyuk, Doctor of Economics, and Prof. Dmytro Antonyuk, Doctor of Economics. The students and teachers who participated got acquainted with the features of the digital educational process, which will start at the German university on October 5. We wish all participants to gain new experience and acquire modern knowledge and skills from European partners!
Let us recall that the project was made possible thanks to a joint initiative of the East Bavarian University of Amberg-Weiden and the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University within the framework of the program «Ukraine digital: Ensuring academic success in times of crisis» of the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD.
