Start of the academic mobility program within the framework of the summer semester under the DILLUGIS 2023 project

14 students and 20 teachers of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University began online training within the framework of the international academic mobility program of the East Bavarian Technical University Amberg-Weiden under the DILLUGIS 2023 project (Digital Labs & Lectures for Ukrainian, German & International Students).

In the summer semester, students and teachers will master the following academic disciplines: «Algorithms and Data Structures», «Business Process Management», «Industrial Engineering», «Communication Technologies», «Information Systems and Databases», «Product Management» and German language courses, which will be taught by professors of the East Bavarian Technical University Amberg-Weiden and practices of leading German companies.

To participate in the competitive selection for the summer semester of 2023, more than 160 applications were submitted from students of three universities (Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, National Technical University «Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute», Odessa State Agrarian University). Students and teachers of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University showed interest in the project and a high level of English language proficiency, which allowed them to compete with students from other HEIs, participants in the consortium.

The organizational meeting for the launch of the project was held on March 13, 2023 with the participation of the coordinator of the program «Digital Technologies and Management» of the East Bavarian University of Amberg-Weiden Amy de Voor-Schon and coordinators from Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Doctor of Economics Kateryna Antonyuk and D.Sc. in Economics Dmytro Antonyuk. Students and teachers were introduced to the features of the digital educational process, which started at the German university on March 16.

Let us recall that the project was made possible thanks to a joint initiative of the East Bavarian Technical University Amberg-Weiden and the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University within the framework of the program «Ukraine digital: Ensuring academic success in times of crisis» of the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD and was extended to 2023.
