Cooperation with the Zaporizhzhia team of the HEKS EPER Ukraine Foundation
On July 4, the distribution of food packages for families of internally displaced persons with children who found temporary shelter in the dormitories of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University began. This was made possible thanks to the cooperation of the University Volunteer Headquarters with the Zaporizhzhia team of the HEKS EPER Ukraine Foundation.
Since the first days of the war, the university has received almost one and a half thousand people who were forced to evacuate from temporarily occupied territories and zones of active hostilities. As of today, more than 800 IDPs, including children, live in the dormitories, and we are infinitely grateful to our partners and benefactors who help provide them with basic necessities, food, and create comfortable living conditions.
The Zaporizhzhia team of the HEKS EPER Ukraine Foundation, together with the rector and representatives of the University Volunteer Headquarters, today took part in distributing food packages in order to improve all organizational aspects in the future, because we have many more such joint events ahead!
