Cooperation with leading IT companies of the city and the country

The Department of Software Tools of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University held a series of webinars on the Zoom platform for students of specialties 121 «Software Engineering» and 122 «Computer Science» during August-November, during which they had the opportunity to meet with representatives of leading IT companies and interested employers.

On August 12, a seminar was held dedicated to cooperation with the National Cyber ​​Police of Ukraine and the Zaporizhzhia Scientific Research Expert and Forensic Center (ZNDEKC) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The representative of the Cyber ​​Police, Oleh Kyrbyat’ev, gave a report «Cyber ​​Police: Volunteer Information Counteraction to Russian Aggression in the Media Space.» Representatives of the ZNDEKC – former graduates of the Department of Software Tools Oleh Lytvytskyi and Olena Lytvytska gave a report «Promising IT in Forensics». The September 16 webinar was dedicated to a meeting with representatives of leading Zaporizhzhia IT companies Freshcode, Ligth IT, Natife and Group BWT. On October 20, a webinar was held dedicated to a meeting with representatives of the international company EPAM, which has over 14,000 employees in Ukraine. The company actively promotes the education of IT students, offers a wide range of opportunities for combining study and work, and further employment of students. On November 17, a webinar was dedicated to a meeting with representatives of the international IT company SoftServe, which has over 12,000 employees in Ukraine alone. During the webinars, students learned about the possibilities of formal and informal education, internships, internships, and graduation at leading enterprises in the region, country, and the world.
