Seminar «Reintegration, Readaptation and Rehabilitation of Veterans. Challenges to Society»
The event was organized on the initiative of the Regional Center for Patriotic Education of Youth and the Zaporizhzhia Regional Student Council, with the assistance of the student government and the student trade union.
The speaker was the regional coordinator of the mental health program «How are you?» Druzhinin Serhiy.
The seminar was held in the format of an active two-way discussion. The main topics of discussion were:
- mental health program «How are you?»
- mental state of combatants
- basic principles of interaction and communication with veterans
- triggers that cause anxiety in veterans
- communication in critical situations
- needs of veterans during rehabilitation
- specifics of returning to civilian life
