Selection of candidates for academic scholarships named after the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred has begun
We invite students of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University studying in the following specialties to participate in the selection of candidates for academic scholarships named after the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred:
- Physical therapy, occupational therapy
- Railway transport
- Economics
- Architecture and urban planning
- Software engineering
- Psychology
A student who, through his/her active civic position, affirms the ideals and values of the Revolution may be a candidate for the scholarship Dignity.
The selection of candidates for the award of scholarships is carried out based on the results of the first semester control of the academic year preceding the year of their appointment, from among students who have achieved significant success in studies and/or scientific, public, sports (creative) activities and have received the right to an academic scholarship, occupy ranking positions within the first 10 percent of the rating (or are the first in ratings that include no more than 10 higher education applicants), according to which academic scholarships are assigned and paid in the relevant higher education institution.
A candidate for a scholarship must provide the following documents:
1. A cover letter signed by the head of the higher education institution.
2. Decision (extract from the decision) of the highest student self-government body (if necessary, an online conference). It is accompanied by materials confirming the active public position of the student (cadet), which contributes to:
- the establishment of a democratic and legal state, the development of the principles of democracy, justice and equality in the educational institution and in society;
- the awareness by students (cadets) of the values of a civil (free democratic) society, the rule of law, the rights and freedoms of man and citizen;
- establishment and protection of human and civil rights and freedoms, other democratic values and freedoms.
3. Motivation letter (for a student) with the mandatory indication of the applicant’s phone number.
4. Extract from the decision of the scholarship committee, confirming his right to be awarded an academic scholarship (for a student).
5. Materials confirming successes and achievements (for the cadet).
Scholarships are paid by higher education institutions monthly at the place of study of the scholarship holder during the academic year, starting from September 1, provided that the candidate’s right to an academic scholarship is confirmed based on the results of the second semester control of the academic year preceding the year of its appointment:
- students – at the expense of funds provided in the general fund of the estimate of the higher education institution for the payment of academic scholarships, in the amount established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
In order to ensure timely processing and submission of documents from the university, we ask candidates for academic scholarships named after the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred to submit documents by June 10, 2022 inclusive.
