Working meeting on the implementation of socially important projects in the Zaporizhzhia region

The president of the Association for Social Development through Law, a good friend of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic Inna Sylantieva, founder of her own charitable foundation, member of the Public Council in the Verkhovna Rada, visited our university.

The rector of NU «Zaporizha Polytechnic» Viktor Greshta met with Ms. Inna to discuss socially important initiatives aimed at the rehabilitation and psychological support of children and youth of the Zaporizhzhia region, the development of systems for ensuring social protection of the population, in particular assistance to internally displaced persons, military personnel and their families. They also discussed practical interaction during the implementation of the educational process in occupational therapy, physical rehabilitation and psychology. Within the framework of the activities of Ms. Inna’s foundation, we plan to cooperate in the scientific field, and in the future, to create a well-founded comprehensive rehabilitation program.

The rector also attended the ceremonial completion of the foundation’s project «Rehabilitation through Swimming». The young athletes were congratulated by the Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine Yuliia Laputina and one of the organizers of the project, Olympic Games medalist, multiple swimming champion Denys Sylantyev. The main goal of the project is to help children who have moved from the occupied territories and children of the military adapt to new conditions.
