Working meeting with the head of the Pridniprovsk Scientific Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine

On June 22, the rector of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Viktor Greshta held a constructive working meeting with a full member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, head of the Pridniprovsk Scientific Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, director of the M.S. Polyakov Institute of Geotechnical Mechanics, Bulat Anatolii Fedorovych. The meeting was also attended by Vice-Rector Vadym Shalomeyev, Deputy Director of the Institute Kateryna Babiy, Assistant Director of the State Enterprise «Ivchenko-Progress» Ruslan Stovba.

They presented the areas of scientific research that scientists of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University and the Institute of Geotechnical Mechanics are currently working on, as well as developments that have already been implemented at enterprises of the mining and metallurgical and machine-building industries.

They outlined a range of common scientific interests for the implementation of projects that will meet the modern needs of both the public sector of the economy and business structures.

They agreed to establish constructive interaction between scientists in joint areas of fundamental and applied research with the support of the NAS of Ukraine, publications in scientific publications of institutions, participation of colleagues in conferences organized by the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic and the Prydniprovsk Scientific Center of the NAS Ukraine.
