Repair work in dormitory No. 4

Repair work in ZNTU dormitories has become a tradition, every year with the participation of the campus administration and the ZNTU student union committee, major and cosmetic repairs are carried out. 2012-2013 only confirmed this, they brought a lot of comfort and coziness to the residents and guests of the dormitories.

During the current year, the following work was carried out: the water supply system in toilets and washbasins was replaced, the bathrooms were overhauled, electric stoves and double-glazed windows were installed, new tiles appeared in the kitchens and restrooms. According to the residents, they liked the renovated block because they feel even better there than at home.

So there would be nothing to brag about if the repair work was limited to one block. In addition, the following was done:

• a room for cultural and mass events was created on the basis of the self-government center;
• a conference hall was renovated;
• two full-fledged rooms in the isolation ward were equipped;
• the sewage system from the basement to the fourth floor was replaced;
• the men’s shower room on the first floor was renovated;
• renovations were made on the seventh, eighth and ninth floors, the third floor of block 4 was completely renovated – where the sewage system was replaced, the walls were painted, tiles were laid and new toilets were installed.

In addition to what has already been achieved, the trade union committee of students, postgraduates and doctoral students of ZNTU, together with the campus administration, clearly regulates the course for improving the quality of student accommodation in dormitories, which are on the balance sheet of our university.
