Congratulations and awards to the participants of the poetry competition

In early February, a poetry competition for Valentine’s Day was announced in the telegram channel «Polytechnic News».

We received fifty unsurpassed original works from our students! Telegram channel subscribers were able to familiarize themselves with these poems using the hashtag #poetry_contest

On February 20, the vote took place, but, unfortunately, due to the well-known circumstances in our country, we did not have time to sum up and award our authors.

Now every Ukrainian is doing everything possible for our victory! We are proud that students of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University do not stay aside and also actively help our defenders! Yes, the life of each of us changed on February 24, but it continues and there should be a place for joy in it, because there is no doubt that victory is ours!

So on April 14, albeit belatedly, the awarding of the participants and winners of the competition took place in the main building of the university.

We thank everyone who was able to join us in such a difficult time, and we keep our fingers crossed for those who are currently outside the city.

Our talented students were congratulated by the rector of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Viktor Greshta and the head of the student trade union committee Andriy Ivanchenko. The prizes purchased back in February still found their owners – after the congratulations, the typists received diplomas, sweets and printed collections, which included the poems of the competition participants. Our museum and library also received several such collections.

We ask that participants who were unable to join our small celebration not be upset, because their prizes will definitely be waiting for their owners in the student union committee (room 368a).
