We continue to issue a subsidy!
On December 12, 2013, a planned event was held at the hostel No. 2 on the initiative of the trade union committee of students, postgraduates and doctoral students of ZNTU regarding the registration of subsidies for students of all forms of study.
Four rooms were allocated for an event of this scale – this made it possible to reduce queues and more productively organize the work of employees of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Zaporizhzhia City Council in the Zhovtnevy district directly in the hostel No. 2.
The documents were assisted by the deputy director of the university campus, Vadym Keda, the hostel administration, and members of the student council of hostel No. 2 headed by Andriy Yurasov.
However, despite the coordinated mechanism for accepting students, queues could not be avoided. So from 3:00 PM a good line had formed at the door, and a new one was appearing as it was being cleared. But this did not affect the students’ mood at all; in the queue you could hear approving exclamations, jokes, and even stories from those who had applied for the subsidy earlier.
«The subsidy is very good, at least some relief for me and my parents. Based on the income I have, the subsidy helps to return a significant part of the money spent on accommodation. I would like to sincerely thank the organizers of this event» – Vadim Farzaev, GP-110.
«I just applied for the subsidy. I stood in line for about twenty minutes, but I still waited. It’s better than going somewhere, standing in line there. «I left the room in slippers, got it done and go about my business» – Savchenko Kostyantyn, M-311.
Closer to the middle of the event, the rector of the university, Serhiy Borisovich Belikov, the director of the campus, Vadym Mykolayovych Dubyna, and the head of the student trade union, Andriy Volodymyrovych Ivanchenko, visited the event. The rector monitored the work, visited all stages of document acceptance, and praised the organizers of the event. The material and technical condition of the dormitory was also inspected. Payments for its improvement in 2013 were determined.
In the words of the representative of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Kurniayenko Nataliia, – «A subsidy is a one-time aid from the state, which cannot be neglected.» Actually, our students did not neglect it, but used it to the fullest extent…
«Currently, we are waiting for a similar event in dormitory No. 3, which is planned to be held on February 14, 2013 from 11:00 to 12:00 and from 15:00 to 17:00. A scheme developed to the smallest detail should not fail, everything should go even faster than in dormitories 4 and 2» – Kurniayenko Nataliia.
