Continuation of cooperation with Gdansk Polytechnic
At the invitation of colleagues from Gdansk Polytechnic, the head of the training laboratory of the Department of «Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Installations» Lidiya Tertyshna took part in the conference «Welcome to Gdansk Tech», which took place on March 16-17, 2023.
The conference was attended by representatives of Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus and the largest delegation from Ukraine.
The participants were welcomed by prof. Kristina Gomulka and project manager Mariusz Rrzyzanowski; Dean of the Faculty of Management and Economics prof. Malgorzata Gawrycka. The meeting was also attended by Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs prof. Piotr Wawrzyk (on-line).
After the speech of the Vice-Rector of Politechniki Gdanskiej prof. Mariusz Kaczmarek was presented with the anniversary edition «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University – 120» as a sign of friendship and cooperation with Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic. Prof. Kristina Gomulka and prof. Mariusz Kaczmarek warmly recalled the previous visit of our university’s delegation to Gdansk and emphasized their willingness for further cooperation.
As part of the conference program, during panel speeches, possible ways of cooperation between Gdansk Tech and NU «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» and the Children’s and Youth Scientific University «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» were presented and discussed.
A tour of the student campus was organized for the conference participants, and interesting communication with students was organized.
We are sincerely grateful to our Polish colleagues for the warm welcome, meaningful meeting and support of Ukrainians in such a difficult time for our country! We hope for strengthening ties and further productive cooperation.
