Improving living conditions in dormitory No. 2
In early October, the rector of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Viktor Greshta, together with vice-rector Andriy Ivanchenko, and the director of the student campus Vadym Dubyna, got acquainted with the results of the joint work of the university’s employees and partners to improve living conditions in dormitory No. 2.
The head of dormitory No. 2 Anna Borisova presented the updated showers, bathrooms, and kitchens. We discussed the current work, outlined ways to implement the further transformation of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic campus into a modern European comfortable student campus.
New gas stoves were installed in the common kitchen, repairs were made to the men’s and women’s showers, and the bathroom on the 5th floor: the tiles on the walls and floor, plastic pipes, metal-plastic windows and entrance doors were replaced, a new hood and plumbing were installed.
The furniture in the residents’ rooms was partially updated – new cabinets, bedside tables, hanging shelves and chairs were installed, and an air conditioner was installed in the leisure room.
We are sincerely grateful to our partners – benefactors of the NGO «Right to Protection» and the NGO «Proliska» for their much-needed assistance in equipping dormitory No. 2.
