Advanced training in the UK
With the assistance of the Foundation of the President of Ukraine for the Support of Education, Science and Sports, within the framework of the Ukrainian Global University initiative, which was established with the support of the Office of the President of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in partnership with the Council for At-Risk Academics (Cara), we invite teachers and scientists who speak English at the level of B2 – C2 and are employed in Ukrainian higher education institutions or scientific institutions (hereinafter referred to as HEIs and NUs), to take advantage of the opportunity to improve their qualifications by teaching and/or conducting research at one of over 120 universities in the UK – Cara partners at the expense of the host party.
The announced opportunity is designed to promote not only individual professional growth to expand professional competencies in the relevant field, but also to establish cooperation with universities in the UK at the institutional level. In case of successful completion of the selection procedure, potential candidates will have the opportunity to undergo advanced training during the hostilities in Ukraine (the exact period of stay also depends on the host country), which involves teaching, conducting scientific research and establishing cooperation with the aim of exchanging and attracting innovative, educational and scientific world practices. The selection of candidates and processing of application forms submitted by applicants will be carried out by «Cara», a non-governmental organization that aims to support employees of HEIs and NUs who belong to the category of persons at risk. The number of applicants from one HEI and NU is not limited, however, a mandatory condition for participation in the selection is to return to Ukraine after completing the internship in order to apply the experience gained to rebuild our country. This will allow Cara to quickly track applicants who have learned about this opportunity from Ukrainian Global University and respond to requests as quickly as possible. Applicants who successfully complete the selection procedure will be able to join the Ukrainian Global University community and in the future participate in professional development programs for community members.
