Results of the meeting of the Academic Council of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University

On March 27, a meeting of the Academic Council was held at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.

During the event, the academic secretary Viktor Kuzmin presented a proposal for candidates for the award of the academic titles of professor and associate professor to teachers of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic. The candidates for submitting their works for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine scholarships for young scientists – doctors of sciences for 2024 were also discussed.

The head of the student government, Mariia Pavlenko, reported on the activities of the student government bodies.

The Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Vasyl Glushko, spoke about the state and prospects for the development of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

The Deputy Head of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Vitalii Shyrokobokov, spoke about the main results of the examination session and the work of the examination committees in the first semester of the current academic year. The issues of changes in the schedule of the educational process for 2022-2023 academic year were also touched upon. and approval of the educational process schedule for 2023-2024 academic year.

During the event, the following issues were also discussed:

• Rules of conduct for higher education applicants at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University;
• Amendments to the Regulations on the settlement of conflict situations at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University;
• Plan of activities for cultural and educational work with higher education applicants for 2023;
• Recommendations for the allocation of material support for gifted youth of the city of Zaporizhzhia in the first half of 2023;
• Recommendations for the publication of scientific and educational publications;
• Regulations on the procedure for attestation of graduates in specialty 227 «Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy» of the field of knowledge 22 «Health Care» (educational and professional program «Physical Therapy») of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University;
• Regulations on the procedure for attesting graduates in the specialty 227 «Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy» of the field of knowledge 22 «Health Care» (educational and professional program «Physical Therapy») of the second (master’s) level of higher education at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University;
• registration of the scientific school: «Resource provision of gas turbines»;
• Anti-corruption program of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University;
• amendments to the educational programs under which educational activities are carried out at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.
