Results of the second stage of the third charity campaign to help the shelter for stray animals «Give me a paw, friend!»
The Department of Marketing and Logistics announced on November 14, 2022 the third Charity Campaign to help the shelter for stray animals «Give me a paw, friend!». The second stage ended on March 30, 2023. Teachers, students and applicants of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University joined the campaign, and 1,550 UAH was collected through joint efforts. The funds raised were used to purchase 15 kg of chicken necks and 6 kg of dry puppy food «Club 4 Paws». Professor Anastasiia Zerkal added 10 kg of wheat groats.
On Saturday, May 6, the head of the department Vladyslava Lyfar and the curator of groups FEU-412, FEU-212 Anastasiia Zerkal, together with first-year students, took all these gifts to the shelter. The visit to the shelter was full of emotions: the shelter curator Oleksandra conducted a tour for the students, and the boys and girls had a great time walking with the dogs.
We are sure that this trip was the first step in helping our four-legged friends, and our youth will always visit this shelter and take care of animals.
