On May 22, 2023, the Department of Social Work and Psychology of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University held a guest online lecture «Simple movements that strengthen internal strength and give a sense of security. Examples, exercises, discussions.

The guest lecturer Theodor Hundhammer is a certified therapeutic eurythmist, a member of the Perseus research association (Switzerland), founder and director of the online project www.eurythmy4you.com.

He introduced the audience to simple but effective practical exercises aimed at restoring the feeling of one’s body and oneself in one’s body, the implementation of which can help in overcoming stress. All interested parties could practice the exercises provided during the lecture.

The participants actively participated in the discussion, which emphasized its relevance and practical significance for specialists in socionomic professions.

The guest lecture was held within the framework of scientific cooperation of Associate Professor of the Department of Social Work and Psychology Tetyana Borodulkina in the implementation of the research project «Stabilization of Mental States by Means of Therapeutic Eurythmy in War Conditions» together with the Research Association «Perseus», as well as within the framework of the study of the academic discipline «Psychological Assistance in Emergency Situations» by master’s degree students in psychology.

The organization of the event was joined by the Department of Foreign Languages ​​for Professional Communication, the Department of Philosophy, the Department of Special Education of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, the Department of Social Education and Social Work of the Mykhailo Dragomanov Ukrainian State University, the Department of Psychology of the Volodymyr Hnatyuk Ukrainian National University, the Department of of Psychology, Pedagogy and Philosophy of Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradsky National University.

Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​for Professional Communication Yurii Polezhaev provided consecutive translation from English.

The online lecture was attended by more than 90 guests from different parts of Ukraine (Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Gostomel, Dnipro, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kremenets, Kremenchuk, Kryvyi Rih, Nikopol, Pereyaslav, Ternopil, etc.), as well as other countries (Great Britain, Poland, Germany).

Within two weeks, each guest will receive an electronic certificate of lecture participation from Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.
