Signing of the Agreement on the Establishment of the Association of Azov-Black Sea Universities
On October 26, the agreement on the establishment of the Association of Azov-Black Sea Universities was solemnly signed. The rector of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, Viktor Greshta, was elected as the Chairman of the Association.
The members of the association have already identified strategic directions for the development of international partnership in order to implement advanced European experience in improving the educational environment and scientific activity. The first operational goals have also been determined to study the relevant scientific interests of Ukrainian universities among the associated members and Polish universities representing the Union of Higher Education Institutions of the City of Lublin, with the subsequent establishment of horizontal ties between scientists of partner universities.
The participants of the association have completed their acquaintance with the universities of Lublin. Lublin University of Technology was the last institution visited by the Ukrainian delegation. The 70-year-old higher education institution impressed with the beauty of the campus, the developed material and technical base of the buildings, the modern equipment of the laboratories and the research center.
A meaningful meeting with the rector of Lublin University of Technology laid the foundation for fruitful cooperation. They agreed to organize regular communication at the level of faculties, departments, scientists, departments, student organizations of Ukrainian and Polish universities.
Mr. Zbigniew, as a representative of the Association of Lublin Universities, spoke about communication with other heads of higher education institutions in Lublin regarding the intention to establish cooperation.
Creating powerful joint scientific groups, pooling potential, and using modern scientific equipment should create a synergistic effect with the achievement of important and promising scientific results!
