The results of the university competition of student business ideas «STARTUP with Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» were summed up
Today, April 7, a solemn ceremony of summing up the results of the competition «STARTUP with Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» was held.
The participants of the competition were congratulated by the rector Viktor Greshta, vice-rector for scientific work Vadym Shalomeyev, vice-rector for NPR, SER and MP Andriy Ivanchenko, director of the public service «Zaporizhzhia cluster »IAM« Andriy Karpenko, acting head of the student trade union committee Maryna Zinchenko and head of the NTSA Serhiy Leoshchenko.
Among the 27 business ideas submitted to the competition, 8 were presented in the final, and 3 won:
1st place — »Travel mobile application for planning a trip «Voyager», on which students of the GF-219 group Illia Kyrychenko, Ihor Strizhko and Yuliya Kolyadyuk worked, accompanied by their mentor – professor of the MEV department Kateryna Antonyuk;
II place – «EnerCore – technologies for rationalizing the use of electricity and earning money from its implementation» authored by a student of the BAD-612sp group Ivan Zhavoronkov and a military officer of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Maksym Chebotary;
III place – «Astrological bar »Muzes of Dionysus” was won by students of the FEU-510 group Sofiia Koshelyeva and Oleksandra Sira under the guidance of their mentor – associate professor of the management department Oksana Sorina.
Special attention was paid to the special nomination – «Business Choice». In the final, representatives of the «Zaporizhzhia Cluster »IAM« carefully reviewed the work of each finalist, asked questions to the authors in order to determine the laureate of the special nomination. The opinion of the jury and entrepreneurs coincided: the »Business Choice« was the project »Travel Mobile Application for Travel Planning «Voyager» authored by students of GF-219 Illia, Ihor and Yuliia under the supervision of Ms. Kateryna. This work receives not only a high mark and a diploma of the winner in the special nomination, but also support from the university in obtaining a patent in the event of further implementation of the business idea at the enterprise.
During the ceremony, each contestant received a certificate of participation in the training course on preparing business plans. The winners were awarded diplomas, and the mentors of the winners received thanks for their fruitful scientific and pedagogical activities. The best projects were awarded diplomas and cash prizes.
