Victory in the XIII International Language and Literary Competition of Students and Students named after Taras Shevchenko
In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Diploma of the Winner of the 3rd degree was awarded to Viktoriia Kovtun (group BAD-532), a student of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University. The winner was prepared by Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Studies and General Language Training, Doctor of Philosophy in Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Halyna Onufrienko.
Viktoriia, together with her scientific supervisor, went for several months to receive the national title of the only winner among students of Zaporizhzhia non-humanitarian universities. In November, the student, having shown a high result in the university stage of the competition, was recommended to participate in the regional stage, which took place in December in two rounds. The meticulous preparation and attention of the scientific supervisor helped Viktoriia take first place among non-humanitarians in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The final stage took place in February during a long nationwide anxiety in the shelter of Zaporizhzhia National University. Our student demonstrated composure and endurance, presented high-quality creative work, persistently going to victory.
The result surpassed three months of patient waiting! This victory is the result of long and diligent intellectual work, confirmation of self-improvement at each stage of the international competition.
The main tasks of the Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literature Competition are more relevant than ever: raising its prestige, stimulating the study of the Ukrainian language and literature, and raising the level of general linguistic and communicative culture. The staff of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University is happy to make efforts to fulfill this noble goal, as evidenced by the achievements of our students.
The winners are grateful to the head of the department of scientific work of students, Snizhana Vychuzhanina, for informational support and assistance in solving organizational issues.
We sincerely congratulate Viktoriya Kovtun and her scientific supervisor, Halyna Sergiyevna! Creative inspiration and success in new projects to popularize the Ukrainian literary language!
