Gifted youth of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic

On February 7, a solemn ceremony was held to summarize the results of the university competition for the best student scientific work, the first stage of the Petro Yatsyk International Ukrainian Language Competition and the first stage of the Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literature Competition.

The winners were congratulated by Rector Viktor Greshta, Vice-Rector for NPR, SER and MP Andriy Ivanchenko, Acting Head of the Student Trade Union Committee Maryna Zinchenko, as well as Head of the Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduate Students, Doctoral Students, Young Scientists and Specialists Serhiy Leoshchenko.

The university competition for student scientific works and the first stages of the language competitions are held annually jointly by the Department of Student Scientific Work and the departments of our university. This academic year we showed the best result:

• 243 participants presented 213 works in the university competition for the best student scientific work, of which 115 authors won,
• 9 winners were determined based on the results of the 1st stage of the Petro Yatsyk International Ukrainian Language Competition,
• 8 winners in the 1st stage of the Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literature Competition.

By decision of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the traditional All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Scientific Works in 2022/2023 academic year is limited only to the university stage. But students are willing to realize their potential in other industry-specific All-Ukrainian competitions. We wish our participants and their academic supervisors every success!

Viktoria Kovtun, a student of the BAD-532 group, received a certificate from the Department of Education and Science of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration on February 4 for 1st place in the regional stage of the Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literature Competition. Dan Dulida, a student of the FEU-412 group, took 3rd place in the regional stage of the Petro Yatsyk International Ukrainian Language Competition.

With such celebrations, we welcome the new spring semester, which will surely bring new achievements and victories!
