NU «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» in the final stage of the 14th International Language and Literature Competition named after Taras Shevchenko

On February 3, the final stage of the 14th International Language and Literature Competition of School and Student Youth named after Taras Shevchenko took place, the participants of which were the winners of the regional stage of educational institutions of the Zaporizhzhia region: 20 students of general secondary education, 3 – vocational and technical, 4 students of professional pre-higher education and 4 – higher education.

This year, the prestigious language and literature competitions are dedicated to the 210th anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko.

The finalists were congratulated by the Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Viktor Zakharchuk, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Methodological Work of the KU «Zaporizhzhia» Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education” of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council Olena Varetska. They wished to adequately represent the Zaporizhzhia region at the final stage of the international intellectual competition.

During the solemn ceremony, the winners of the regional stage of the competition and their mentors were awarded with certificates from the Department of Education and Science of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration. Among the awardees were a student of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University Viktoriia Kovtun (BAD-532) and her scientific supervisor, Doctor of Philosophy Halyna Onufrienko. The winners received memorable gifts from the Zaporizhzhia regional organization of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine – publications of works by fellow writers.

After the celebrations, the contestants completed the creative tasks of the competition.
