A new victory for Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University — an Energy Innovation Hub will be created in Zaporizhzhia on the basis of the university!

According to the program of the project «Energy Efficiency Reforms in Ukraine», implemented by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ GmbH) on behalf of the Government of Germany, the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University is involved in the «Professional Qualifications» component, which provides for the creation of an energy innovation hub based on the university, which will serve as a platform for educational and educational activities in the field of energy efficiency.

The main goal of the initiative is to create a learning space for the implementation of initiatives in the field of energy efficiency, the development of educational materials on energy efficiency for schools, vocational education (VET) institutions and higher education institutions using the best domestic and international practices.

In total, 17 applications were submitted for participation in the competitive selection from higher education institutions from 14 regions of Ukraine. According to the selection results, the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University and four other universities of Ukraine will receive direct support in creating energy innovation hubs.
