Training for energy managers of II-III levels of the Zaporizhzhia city territorial community on maintenance of public buildings after the implementation of energy efficiency measures

The Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University held training for energy managers of II-III levels of the Zaporizhzhia city territorial community on maintenance of public buildings after the implementation of energy efficiency measures.

The Rector of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic, Viktor Greshta, solemnly opened the training program, noted the importance of developing the city’s energy independence and spoke about future cooperation between our scientists, public figures and local authorities. The rector also emphasized the plan to create a qualification center and certify specialists.

Deputy Mayor for the Activities of Executive Bodies of the Zaporizhzhia City Council Andriy Pyatnytskyi congratulated the participants and thanked his colleagues from the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic for the effective approach to all joint programs.

During the discussion, the speakers – Head of the Energy Planning and Investment Department of the Energy Management and Investment Department of the Economic Development Department of the Zaporizhzhia City Council Viktor Bondarenko and Deputy Director of the Economic Development Department of the Zaporizhzhia City Council Borys Rozsokha – spoke about ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of buildings after comprehensive or partial thermal modernization, implementing measures to increase energy efficiency.

As part of the training, the participants visited an individual heating point in dormitory No. 4, laboratories of energy management, non-traditional energy sources, energy saving and energy-efficient technologies in architecture and construction, as well as thematic laboratories at the Department of Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Installations.
