Training in safe behavior during air raids, sudden shelling
On February 19 and 20, in the shelter of the main building of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, training was conducted for employees and participants of the educational process in safe behavior during air raids, sudden shelling, evacuation, and detection of explosive objects.
The training was conducted by representatives of the Public Organization «Association of Sappers of Ukraine» within the framework of the implementation of the international joint project «Canada-Ukraine Foundation».
During the training, employees and participants mastered the following topics:
- threat recognition (unexploded ordnance; anti-personnel, anti-vehicle, and water mines; abandoned ordnance; detonators/fuses; ammunition; improvised explosive devices)
- what is considered a dangerous area
- what are the warning signs
- what to do if you find a suspicious object or witness a mine explosion
- how to behave during an air raid and shelling: actions indoors and outdoors
- evacuation plan after shelling
