Scientific Interfaculty Seminar on the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language

From November 9 to 19, 2022, the Department of Ukrainian Studies and General Language Training held a number of events at Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University on the Day of Ukrainian Writing, including an intellectual and spiritual one – the Scientific Interfaculty Seminar on the topic «Ukrainian Language in Modern Society and the World Space».

The organizers of the event were Doctor of Philosophy in Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Halyna Serhiivna Onufrienko and Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Tetyana Hryhorivna Bilenko.

Students of the faculties – GF, ETF, LF, FCNT participated in the event. Students of various courses and specialties, future bachelors in international economics, law, and engineering, presented their scientific works and supplemented them with vivid presentations.

Summing up the work of the scientific seminar, Associate Professor Galyna Serhiivna Onufrienko spoke about different types of student scientific work, priorities in student scientific work, and academic integrity.

All participants received useful recommendations for preparing for participation in the annual scientific conference at the university «Week of Science» in April.

Associate Professor Tetyana Hryhorivna Bilenko noted the high educational, scientific, and patriotic potential of this format of student scientific work for the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language.

The seminar provided an opportunity to realize the scientific and creative potential of talented students, united the hearts of those who are not indifferent to their native language, to the issue of language policy, and to all those who are rooting for the fate of Ukrainian nation and the future of the Ukrainian Word!
