Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University has become a full member of the European Association of Higher Education Institutions (EURASHE)

Despite the difficult times, Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University does not stop and continues to develop at the international level. The new year began with our university becoming a full member of the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE).

This organization is a member of the E4 Group (EUA, EURASHE, ENQA, ESU) and unites higher education institutions, national and sectoral associations of European countries focused on the development of professional higher education.

The European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE) is a membership organization that unites universities of applied sciences, university colleges, as well as national and sectoral associations and other higher education institutions that offer programs with active involvement of the labor market and conduct applied research within the framework of the Bologna cycles.

The association is a representative organization dealing with European higher education, such as as the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, the European University Association and the European Students’ Union. EURASHE aims to support the development and transformation of European society through professional higher education.

The granting of the status of a full member was the result of the active policy of internationalization of our university, joining the European University Association (EUA); signing the Magna Charta; entering international rankings (Multirank); participation in international projects Erasmus+, DAAD; participation in large regional cooperation associations (Black Sea Universities Network BSUN), concluded cooperation agreements with international partners and many other measures that increased the rating of our university and international recognition.

Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University, within the framework of the association, will contribute to the development of innovative, high-quality professional higher education and relevant user-oriented research in Europe. Membership in the association expands opportunities for cooperation with international institutions, participation in joint projects and provides an opportunity to influence the European policy of development of professional higher education.

We congratulate the staff and students of the university on this event, because it opens up new prospects for the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University in the European educational space.
