Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Receives Modern Equipment and Software
Cybersecurity of Ukraine’s critical infrastructure is an extremely important factor in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of the country and its society. Measures to improve cybersecurity are an integral part of ensuring national security and resilience, as they provide protection against cyberattacks from external threats, ensure the stability of the economy and the functioning of society, maintain trust and confidentiality of information, and prevent major environmental and physical risks.
In the fall of 2023, as part of the USAID project «Cybersecurity of Ukraine’s Critical Infrastructure», Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University received modern equipment and software. Almost 200 software licenses were obtained:
- Office 365 A5 for faculty
- Office 365 A5 for students use benefit
- Visual Studio Professional 2022
- Windows 11 Pro Ukrainian DVD
- Advanced Threat Analytics
- SQL Server Enterprise Core
- Win Server DC Core
- Win Server Standard Core
Personal computers, projectors, multifunction devices, multimedia, server and auxiliary equipment were also obtained within the project.
The provided hardware and software are not only material support, but also an opportunity for students and Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University to effectively continue the educational process and contribute to development of the cybersecurity industry in Ukraine.
