Establishing ties with Polish universities
The Rector of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University and Vice-Rector Andriy Ivanchenko, together with members of the Association of Azov-Black Sea Universities, continue to establish ties with Polish universities.
At the Catholic University of Lublin, named in honor of Pope John Pavlo II, who taught at this university for a long time, they got acquainted with the organization of the career office, which is an intermediary between students, graduates and employers. Vice-rector of the university Beata Piskorska noted the high level of knowledge and diligence of applicants to the Catholic university from Ukraine, who traditionally enter the largest number of foreign citizens.
Representatives of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic also held a working meeting with the rector of the Marie Curie-Skłodowska University Radosław Dobrowolski and the university management. They discussed areas of cooperation in scientific activities with the possibility of conducting joint research using experimental equipment of partner universities in Lublin, organizing academic mobility of higher education applicants and teaching staff.
The university rector highly appreciated the aspirations of the leaders of Ukrainian universities in introducing the best practices of organizing the educational environment and modern scientific technologies and assured the support of Polish colleagues for European integration processes in Ukraine. They agreed to identify possible areas of joint activity, study them in detail and discuss specific mechanisms for their implementation at a joint conference of the Association of Azov-Black Sea Universities and the Association of Lublin Universities, which includes 4 universities in Lublin, which is planned to be held in the first decade of November.
