Attention students of preferential categories! If you belong to one of the following preferential categories, are a full-time student on a state order, have no academic debts, but do not receive an academic scholarship this semester
We are waiting for you in room 405 (fourth floor of the main building of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University – Social Protection Commission of the Students’ Trade Union Committee) to apply for a social scholarship!
The following students (cadets) are entitled to social scholarships:
1) orphans and children deprived of parental care, and persons from among them in the event of continuing their studies until the age of 23 or until graduation from educational institutions;
2) persons who, during the period of study between the ages of 18 and 23, were left without parents (whose parents died/declared dead, perished or went missing);
3) persons entitled to receive a social scholarship in accordance with Articles 20-22 and 30 of the Law of Ukraine «On the Status and Social Protection of Citizens Affected by the Chernobyl Disaster»;
4) miners with at least three years of experience in underground work;
5) persons who became students within three years after receiving basic and/or complete general education, whose parents are miners with at least 15 years of experience in underground work or died as a result of an accident at work or who were diagnosed with disability of group I or II;
6) persons recognized as injured participants in the Revolution of Dignity, participants in hostilities, and their children (until the children finish their studies, but no longer than until they reach the age of 23);
7) children whose parents died (went missing) in the area of the anti-terrorist operation, the implementation of measures to ensure national security and defense, repel and deter armed aggression of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, hostilities or armed conflicts or died as a result of a wound, contusion or mutilation received in the area of the anti-terrorist operation, as well as as a result of an illness received during the period of participation in the anti-terrorist operation, the implementation of measures to ensure national security and defense, repel and deter armed aggression of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, hostilities or armed conflicts, as well as as a result of an illness received during the period of participation in the anti-terrorist operation, the implementation of measures to ensure national security and defense, repel and deter armed aggression of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions (before graduation, but no later than until they reach the age of 23) years);
8) children whose parents died during mass civil protest actions or died as a result of injury, contusion or mutilation received during mass civil protest actions (until they graduate, but not later than they reach the age of 23);
9) children registered as internally displaced persons (until they graduate, but not later than they reach the age of 23);
10) persons who are granted social scholarships of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for students of higher education institutions from among orphans and children from low-income families;
11) children with disabilities and persons with disabilities of groups I-III;
12) students from families receiving assistance in accordance with the Law of Ukraine «On State Social Assistance to Low-Income Families»;
13) persons with disabilities as a result of the war and their children (until they graduate education, but not longer than until they reach the age of 23);
14) children of deceased participants in the Revolution of Dignity, combatants or persons with disabilities as a result of the war (until graduation, but no longer than until they reach 23 years of age);
15) children living in settlements on the contact line (until graduation, but no longer than until they reach 23 years of age).
