Youth special unit «SHIELD» – 28 years old
On March 30, the rector of the university Viktor Greshta met with student members of the public order protection unit Youth special unit «SHIELD». This meeting was held on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the formation of the unit.
Many former members of the unit wore shoulder straps of various law enforcement agencies and serve in various units of the National Police, National Guard, and Security Service of Ukraine.
From the first days of the full-scale war in Ukraine, some student members of the unit joined the ranks of the Territorial Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, standing up for the defense of their native State. Those who remained to study continue to protect public order at the university and the city of Zaporizhzhia.
The rector congratulated all those present on the anniversary of the formation, thanked everyone for their contribution to the defense of the Motherland and their hometown.
