International Scientific Congress «SOCIETY OF AMBIENT INTELLIGENCE — 2022»

From October 17 to 22, 2022, the V International Scientific Congress «SOCIETY OF AMBIENT INTELLIGENCE — 2022» was held, the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University acted as a co-organizer of this event.

The mission of the Congress is to organize a platform for comprehensive cooperation between the academic community and business in order to generate new knowledge and exchange information and best practices, taking into account modern trends, key factors and features of the development and technologies of the information society in the context of the globalization of the digital economy.

In 2022, more than 500 participants from 20 countries of the world took part in the work of the Congress, 57 articles were selected and published in the SCITEPRESS Digital Library journal (Portugal), including 8 papers by authors from the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.

During the preparation and work of the Congress, teachers of the departments of «Economics and Customs», «Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business», «Information Technologies in Tourism», «Foreign Languages ​​of Professional Communication», «Management», «Entrepreneurship, Trade and Stock Exchange Activities», «Social Work and Psychology» took part in the International Scientific and Pedagogical Internship «International Scientific Research and Educational Activity as an Integral Part of the Functioning of New Generation Universities».

Representatives of our university took part in the round table «Current Problems of Socio-Economic Development of Regions of Ukraine». They focused on the question: «Is it time to discuss the problems of sustainable development of Ukraine today? How to combine war and sustainable development?».

Andriy Karpenko, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Economics and Customs of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, Director of the Zaporizhzhia Cluster «Engineering – Automation – Mechanical Engineering» presented the report «Cluster and University as Important Elements of the Region’s Innovation Ecosystem».

Today we are starting preparations for the International Scientific Congress «SOCIETY OF AMBIENT INTELLIGENCE – 2023». Next year, the university will present to the global scientific community its achievements in the field of digitalization in regional and global economic development, transformation of law in achieving sustainable development goals, socialization of the individual in conditions of sustainable development, as well as engineering and technologies of sustainable development.
