International online meeting «Gdansk for Zaporizhzhia» as part of the open educational and scientific event «Night of Science» at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University
For the second year, NU «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» has been holding the event «Night of Science». This year, as part of the project, a scientific online meeting was held with our partners from the Gdansk Polytechnic.
The meeting was held under the slogan «Gdansk for Zaporizhzhia». The event was welcomed by representatives of the authorities of the cities of Gdansk and Zaporizhzhia, heads of higher educational institutions.
Among the invited guests are the rector of the Gdańsk Polytechnic, Prof. Dr. Krzysztof Wilde, vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work and humanitarian issues, Ph.D., Prof. Wiktor Greszta, vice-president of the city of Gdańsk, Mag. Piotr Hrzeliak, Deputy Mayor of Zaporizhzhia Andriy Pyatnytskyi.
The representatives of science from the Gdańsk Polytechnic were Dr. Eng. Alicja Lenarczyk (Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Automation), Dr. Hab. Eng. Robert Malkowski, Prof. (Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Automation), Dr. Michal Kucewicz (Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics), Mag. Piotr Kasprzak, Mag. Dominika Tabasz, Dr. Katarzyna Kubiśzewska (Faculty of Management and Economics).
Ukrainian scientists were presented by Ph.D., prof. Galyna Tabunshchyk, (Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof., Director of the Institute of Educational Technology Development Olha Cholyshkina (MAUP (Kyiv), Engineer of the Commercial Department Puzik Andriy (INFOCOM LTD), Nataliia Goncharova, Iryna Vasylenko (State Scientific Institution «Institute for Modernization of Educational Content», Kyiv), Design Engineer of JSC «Motor Sich» Dmytro Nosach, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Pyrozhok Andriy (Department of EPA, Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University), Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Berezhna Halyna (State Higher Educational Institution «Institute of Educational Management», Kyiv).
The project coordinators from the Gdansk Polytechnic were Prof. Dr. Krystina Gomulka, from the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University – mag. Kateryna Kolomiets.
The event was hosted by the Head of the International Department of Academic Cooperation, Mag. Anna Modzhievska, from the Gdańsk Polytechnic and Dmytro Plynokos, Ph.D., Associate Professor, from the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic. The working language of the meeting was English.
Translation support was provided by Kristina Galustova from the center «Window on Amerika Zaporizhzhia» universal scientific library.
