Memorandum with UCM Italy Association «Mediterranean Union of Chefs»
On September 28, Viktor Greshta, rector of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, and Palo Brescia, president of UCM Italy Association «Mediterranean Union of Chefs», signed a memorandum of cooperation.
Within the framework of our partnership, we plan to organize training and practice for students, conduct courses and practical training of cooks, waiters, pizzaiolo and bartenders under the «Culture of Italian Culinary Science» program on the basis of modern facilities of the hotel and restaurant business in Italy, as well as participate in international culinary art competitions and gastronomic festivals.
In July and August 2023, seven students of specialties 241 «Hotel and restaurant business» and 242 «Tourism» have already completed training in hotels in the south of Italy. All project participants who completed training and practice received certificates from Associazione U.C.M. Italy«.
The signing of such agreements indicates the development of international relations of our university and contributes to the deepening of the professional training of students of specialties 241 »Hotel and restaurant business« and 242 »Tourism”.
