Round table with the support of the Department of Education and Science of the Zaporizhzhia City Council
On August 22, a round table «Conceptual principles for implementing the project for introducing specialized education in secondary educational institutions of Zaporizhzhia together with Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» was held at our university with the support of the Department of Education and Science of the Zaporizhzhia City Council. It was attended by heads of territorial education departments and 62 school principals of Zaporizhzhia. The main goal of the meeting was to develop a strategy for cooperation between the university and secondary education institutions.
The discussion was started by the rector of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Viktor Greshta. He emphasized that we are responsible for our students, who have been receiving education under difficult conditions for many years, so career guidance activities should be formed taking into account modern challenges and a full-fledged partnership between schools and the university.
Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Zaporizhzhia City Council Yuliia Pogrebnyak noted that the pace of development and modernization of the educational process established by Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic inspires and encourages active action.
The main speaker of the meeting was Tetyana Solovyova, who is responsible for career guidance work at the university. She presented the calendar of educational, scientific and career guidance activities and presented the concept of the development of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University.
Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic continues its work in the direction of STEM education. The authors of STEM projects, Nataliia Furmanova and Kateryna Bratkovska, drew attention to the interest of schoolchildren in their creation in their reports.
The Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports Management, Vasyl Mazin, announced the system of sports competitions «Entrant-2024».
