Round table «Resilience and recovery of Ukraine. Cluster cooperation projects for the Zaporizhzhia region»
On June 29, the rector of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Viktor Greshta took part in the round table organized by the Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry «Resilience and recovery of Ukraine. Cluster cooperation projects for the Zaporizhzhia region.» The main topic of discussion was the achievements and projects to restore the regional economy and increase the prestige of our region at the national level.
In his report, the rector of our university focused on the following micro-topics:
- determining the place of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic in the cluster movement and its contribution to its activities
- consideration of the modern model «University-Business-Community» using the example of our university
- presentation of an innovative project of cogeneration plants
In addition, the participants of the round table were interested in the details of the admission campaign, the possibilities of entering the university during the war, and the number of applicants in Zaporizhzhia. Everyone agreed that one of the most serious obstacles in the process of developing the industrial potential of Zaporizhzhia is the loss of human capital. Experts see one of the solutions to this problem as a long-term strategy for interaction with schoolchildren, our potential applicants, and their parents.
That is why the meeting highly appreciated the initiative of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic to create a Children’s and Youth Scientific University, whose activities are aimed at creating conditions for the development of gifted youth, expanding career guidance activities, and conducting educational and scientific events that will allow students to consciously choose their future profession.
Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic has been a member of the Zaporizhzhia cluster movement for over 2 years. We are very grateful for the support and hope for continued active cooperation! Let’s develop our region together.
